Seminars & Workshop
Online Seminars

Monthly online seminars are offered to first and second year MAHSR students during the fall and winter semesters (14 in total). These ~ one hour seminars are designed to provide students with further training relevant to their future careers in the health research field, practical skills (i.e. grant writing), and to connect students with leaders in the health research community. The seminars also provide an opportunity for students from both years to interact with and learn from each other in a more informal environment.

In-person Workshop

Every year (typically in early December) the ARTC organizes a 3-day student workshop in Halifax. It is mandatory for all first-year students to attend, and the ARTC will organize and cover the cost of travel. The workshop provides students with an opportunity to learn and network with stakeholders in the health research field, meet their fellow students/staff from other sites, and learn new skills related to health research.
